Mason Jar Blender Smoothies!

I am so thrilled right now! I was just reading through my blogs when I saw that Tip Junkie had mentioned a blog where the gal makes blended drinks in a Mason Jar.  Say, what??  Did you know that your blender blade can probably fit on a regular mouth canning jar?
I tested it.  It totally works on my cheapo Walmart Osterizer.

In a pint jar, I combined two cubes of frozen strawberries (I bought a 30lb bucket from a local Rotary Club. I froze some in ice cube trays.), a handful …

Paper Flower Pieces Tutorial (and a FREEBIE!)

Back when I first started creating cutting files to go along with my papercraft template sets, I realized that I would need to offer a free template so that my potential customers could test out their digital die cutting machine to make sure my cut files would work for them.  I had been playing with creating my own paper flowers for a while, so I decided to make it easier on myself by putting together a set of cutting files that could be opened all at once and cut all …

Mega Swag Bucks Day!

Don’t forget that every Friday is Mega Swag Bucks Day!  SO, on Fridays, instead of searching the internet and winning just 7 or 10 Swag Bucks, you could win 30 or 40 or 50 Swag Bucks! That gets you MUCH closer to earning enough to redeem them for a $5 Amazon Gift Card.

Last year, I earned over $475 in Amazon Gift Cards by using Swag Bucks as my search engine.  Read all about it and click to the different links to learn my tips and tricks by visiting my 2010 …

The Apple Basket Template: Perfect for Back to School!

I hate to brag, but MY kids don’t start school until September!  That means we get one more month of fun, family time.  This is good, since summer has come really late to Oregon this year.  It’s sunny right now.  It was cloudy yesterday.  It was cold last week.  Definitely not summer weather!
However, even though I am relishing this time at home with my kids, I know that very soon we will be in the throws of back-to-school preparation.  That’s why I am SO glad to have my gift for …

I scrap, too!

I finished a couple of layouts the other night, so I thought I’d post them here!!

Epoxy letters by Robin Marie (no longer available)

I actually created this page about Cole growing up last year sometime.  It was published in an online magazine, so I didn’t post it in the galleries.  I messed with the shadows after taking a shadows class by Peppermint. Awesome class!

How To Add The Pinterest Pin It Button to a Blog Post

I admit that I am completely in love with Pinterest.  I could go on and on explaining what Pinterest is, but it’s been done.  Instead, let me sum up: It is like a giant online cork board that you can pin great articles, cool pictures and fabulous ideas to without having to tear a page out of a magazine.  When you see something that you like online, you “Pin it” to your Pinterest Style Board so you can come back to it again or share it with a friend.  So …

I’ve shared this one here on my blog before, but it is SO good that it totally deserves a repost.

The Friday Haul (Tuesday Morning Edition)

I know it has been a LONG time since I have posted a garage sale “Friday Haul” post. I still go garage sale-ing most Fridays, but most of my purchases are not really blog post worthy.
However, this one was an exception!!

The frame was $1. I don’t know what I will do with it, but I couldn’t pass it up.  I might end up making a new chalkboard, since I gave my other one to a friend.  Or, I might make a message board like the one in Cole’s room.  …
