Bluebird Chic Ring Giveaway!
Congratulations to Rachel, the winner of the Bluebird Chic Ring Giveaway!
This giveaway is now closed!
I met Leah in the forums of our first digital scrapbooking class a few years ago. We were learning all of the same things, but she was working outside the box and testing her new skills more than the rest of us. I asked “chicscrapper” how she accomplished something in Photoshop, she answered my question, and from then on I noticed when her name popped up in all of the different digital scrapbooking forums we visited. We served on a couple of creative teams together, and that is where I started getting to know Leah a bit more.
I subscribed to her blog and discovered that Leah has a genuine love for all things creative. When she isn’t homeschooling her two cute boys or lovin’ on her man, she inspires others (aka - me) to find their funky side. Leah is a big-time (published oodles) traditional and hybrid scrapbooker and cardmaker, and digital designer (temporarily retired, I’m sure!). She sews, but she probably wouldn’t describe herself as a seamstress, because that just sounds too stuffy.
Leah has recently jumped into the Etsy pool and opened up a shop to share her fun, funky, fashionable creations.
Although Leah offers several fun colors, I chose to have her send me a black ring to review, and I must say that I feel very funky when I wear it. I wore it to my husband’s company picnic the other night and several people asked about it! Yes, having a dainty fabric flower on your hand is quite the conversation piece!
The rings are adjustable, so anyone can enjoy the funk.
Would you like to win one of these great conversation starter/funkifier rings? Here’s your great opportunity!!

I am not very funky. I’m kind of a straight laced girl.

If I (or you) were funky, I’d pick either the turquoise or coral one! Or maybe even the lime green one.

This is beyond cute! I have never thought to do flowers on a ring. I wouldn’t consider myself funky (maybe a little on the inside), I am still working on thinking outside of the box with my fashion!

You totally should have gone with the Peacock ring. It is oozing with funk!

Oh, and outwardly I am not funky, but there is a funky girl hidden deep inside that is dying to get out. Maybe if I didn’t live in Haviland, KS I would be brave enough to set her free!

You are so sweet, Kelleigh!!
Hope you enjoy your ring!! And good luck to all the girls entering!! ^_^
Thanks of hosting a giveaway!!

And you’re so right! Even though I’ve sewn everything from totes to curtains to my wedding dress {with boning and all!} I consider myself a “sewist”. HeeHee…

I am a bit funky at heart….maybe more “wannabe” funky, but I SO love the ring!

So hard to decide on a color….thinking the coral blush would be fun!
[Reply]
I have a streak - that comes out occasionally.

Black is a good pick! I dig the peacock and honeydew too though.
[Reply]
I’m not that funky, kinda the boring type, but I love your ring
[Reply]
I really like all the colors, but the pewter gray is really nice!

I love Funky things!

I like the Peacock!

I saw that ring and thought instantly of a good friend of mine and how it would match her funky purse perfectly! I had to investigate where to get one. She has a black leather purse with big black leather flowers on the front of it just like the ring almost. I think it’s kinda gawdy, especially for a 58 yr old woman but she loves it. She is a bird of a different breed for sure but i love her!!

Oh, my goodness! These are just gorgeous!! So, so pretty!!
I must admit, I don’t think of myself as funky at all! But that ring would sure make me think I was! And I think black is a great choice! It goes with everything! The Honeydew is fab too!
Thanks for the chance to win one of these beauties Kelleigh!
Hugs…

I love funky! But I either can’t quite pull it off or am not quite in the right mood for it. HA!

The turcoise one to make a slpash, but if you are feeling a little demure and want a hint of funky … the cream one.

Kelleigh, that ring is gorgeous!! Personally out of all the colors, I really love the black one. However the blue ring is gorgeous too — oh who am kidding, they are all fabulous!!

Wow, it helps if I read directions
Yes, I definitely consider myself funky!! Which is why I’d choose the black ring for myself.
[Reply]
My choice for you would have been the peacock one — just a pretty blue!
[Reply]
My choice would be the coral. I have heard that coral is the “it” color of the season. If my clothes are hip and happening, maybe my accessories could be!!!
[Reply]
I love all the colors, but for someone who takes funky in small doses I would pick the black, too. Plus it seems easy to funk up or casual it down!
[Reply]
I wish I were funkier than I currently am. I’m not just cool enough to be on the cutting edge
But this ring could help tip the scales!
[Reply]
Black is classy, but a little more on the funky side would be be coral blush, elegant khaki or peacock!
[Reply]
I’m funky because I love 80′s electronica and my bedroom is lime green, which is kinda funky. If I were you I’d have picked lime green or blue, just because they’re my favourite colours and they’re funky
;)
