Last 3 Days for $1 Goodies!

We’ve been having so much fun during Dollar Days at Pixels and Company.  Every day feels like Christmas, because we get to see the new $1.00 items that have been revealed!

I have 6 new products this month, and they are all only ONE dollar in the month of January.  On February 1st, they switch to regular price, so be sure to build your stash while you can!

Here are my items for only $1.00! (Click to enlarge!)

And, my brand new one, the Birthday Cuts!  These are 3×4 cards that work great for your pocket scrapping (Project Life) in both digital and hybrid format! The PNG files, shown on the preview with a pretty craft paper applied to it, can be dropped right onto your digital page, or you can use them as a clipping mask (for you digital PL gals).  However, they also include SVG and DXF files so you can use them with your digital die cut machine, like the Silhouette!  I cut these on my Silhouette, and I can’t wait to make a set of birthday cards with them!  They are so versatile.  Use them in scrapbooking, or use them in card making!

Don’t forget that the sale ends at midnight MST on January 31st!  ALL Dollar Days products are live right now, so this is your last chance to refresh your digital stash and pick up a few new items!

As always, thank you so much for your support of my little business.  I couldn’t do it without you, my loyal fans and customers!  Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter so you don’t miss a thing, and follow me on Facebook and Pinterest for more fun inspiration!  Feel free to pin and share!!

The full kit is going live in February, however you can pick up the full set of papers and the full set of elements for only $1 each during Pixels and Company’s Dollar Days!

Don’t forget to check out all of my Dollar Days items before time runs out!

DSD 2013: Pin It to Win It!

This contest is now over, but you are ALWAYS welcome to Pin my products!!  I would love you for it!

Congratulations to Amy and Michelle H!  You’ve been emailed!

Hey, howdy readers!  Digital Scrapbooking Day celebrations have begun, and I’m having a great time shopping the sales, participating in blog hops, and getting ready to post my Digiscrap Parade freebie to my Facebook Page.  LOTS of fun things are happening!

So, I already told you that my fabulous store, Pixels and Company, is having a Pin It to Win It contest.  (Click on the image below to go to the thread with all the details.)  It’s totally awesome.

I decided to copy them!!  See, I recently switched stores, and most of my products showing up on Pinterest are linking to my old store.  Not good, because that makes it a dead end for potential customers.  I need you to help me out by pinning your favorite products from my NEW store at Pixels and Company.

The rules:

  1. You must have a Pinterest account.  That’s kind of a given, right?
  2. You must pin at least 10 products.  They could be my previews, or they could be a project that was created with that template, but they must link back to that product page.
  3. Leave a link here in the comments of this post to the board that you pinned to.  Maybe you have a “Papercrafts” board or a “Digiscrap” board.  Just link me to your board so I can check it out!
  4. Two random winners will receive $20 to spend in my store!  Winners will be notified on November 4th and announced here at the top of this post.

To pin a PROJECT, rather than my preview, go to the product page:

Click on View Detailed Images.

Use the arrows under the photo to navigate until you find the project you want to pin.

Then go ahead and pin it!  I have the Pin button installed on my browser’s menu bar.  I followed the directions here on Pinterest.

Oh, and while you are over there, follow me on Pinterest!  Might as well, right?

Thanks everyone!  And, happy pinning!

Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs is now at Pixels and Company!!

Change is good! After five great years at TDC, it’s time for a change. It’s amazing how a change of scenery can inspire and revitalize us, and that’s exactly what is happening to me! I’m thrilled to be stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new, and I hope you come along for the ride!

What does this change mean for you? It means big sales, new promotions and NEW templates!! I have some fun things coming up over the next few weeks as I load my inventory into my new store at Pixels and Company.

Now is the time to subscribe to my newsletter!  Newsletter subscribers will have the opportunity to pick up a brand new, never released template for just $1.

Facebook “likers” will be happy to hear that I’m going to be participating in the next Digiscrap Parade (coming in just a couple of weeks!), where you will have another opportunity to pick up a fun freebie from me and many other talented designers.

Finally, I’ll be posting on my blog more regularly! Think fun tips and tricks, inspiration and more! YAY! Like I said, exciting stuff happening!

Before I go, head on over to my little corner of Pixels and Company and take advantage of my 30% off debut sale! I’ve lowered the price on my full template sets, so don’t be shocked when you see such significant discounts!  While you are there, go ahead and subscribe to the shop newsletter so that you NEVER miss out on a single new release (because, you know, sometimes I forget to announce that I put something in my shop!).

Will you do one last thing for me? If you like what you see, will you Pin my products on Pinterest, Share my newsletter and blog post, and help get the word out about my big move? That would be so awesome! Thanks for being such wonderful customers!

Laminated Cash Envelopes!

I’m so excited about the new service that I am offering in my Etsy shop! I bought a laminator (on Amazon with Swagbucks!!), so I have been laminating my little heart out.  So much fun!  The laminated cash envelopes turn out so nice, and I’m so proud of their sturdiness.

Last night I laminated two sets of cash envelopes that I sold yesterday, and I was SO impressed at how they turned out that I just HAD to show you.

This particular paper is already very thick and sturdy, but by getting them laminated, the new owner can be confident that it will hold up for years!

Check out that glitter!! Yes, the lamination makes the glitter on some of the envelope sets just pop! So pretty!

I decided to add the labels after laminating the sets so that if your budget changes over the next few years you can just peel the label off and put a new one on. At least, I think you can peel. In theory, I suppose.  However, the glue I used is super strong and I was amazed at how well the paper adhered to the plastic! Very cool.

I designed these sets so that the flap can be inserted into the checkbook slot or large slot of your wallet as shown.

However, my personal wallet actually has the slot on the opposite side, so for my set I just flip the insert over and slip it in!

The cool thing is that now that we are dealing with a laminated set, you really could just toss the whole set right into your purse without having it in your wallet. Of course, if you want it to last longer, you’ll protect it from the contents of your purse by putting it in a wallet or maybe a clutch, but you technically COULD!

Have you checked out my Etsy shop lately?  I’ve been working on filling it up!  I added 6 new sets yesterday, then cut out another 9 last night (which I’m hoping to work on tonight). I have more paper waiting to be cut, plus I’ll be buying even more with that Groupon I purchased yesterday!!

I’m having so much fun with Etsy, guys! I wish I had discovered it long ago! What an amazing place!! Go check it out!

HUGE New Release Day!

You should have seen me last night. I was innocently clicking around the digi world and since my own store is linked in my toolbar, I clicked on that to get to another designer’s store.  Then I saw ALL of the new releases that had just become available in MY store!  I almost freaked out because there were SO many images and they were so cheap!  Good grief.

I knew I was working hard, but I guess it didn’t really hit me until I saw my shop.

It’s kinda like saying, “I come from a big family”.  See, when you come from a big family, it doesn’t seem like a big deal.  Every family member is completely indispensable, and your home feels nice and cozy.  Very normal.  THEN, when you see a picture of your big family, you’re like, “Hello!  Where did this big group come from?  Oh yeah.  That’s my family.”  I’m  not kidding when I tell you that I felt like this ALL the time growing up.

So, I’m one of 10 or 11 kids (give or take).  Eh.  Whatever.  It’s really not a big deal.

Good gracious.  I do go off on tangents, don’t I?  Ahem.

I re-vamped and re-released three of my most popular templates this week! Check it out:

(click to go or to enlarge!)

For my sample, I used Quirky Twerp’s Little Beach Bum paper pack.  LOVE it!  And, yes, that is the Paper Flower Pieces freebie that I used to make that flower.

You’ll notice that I have released one set of the whole shebang (Templates and Cutting Files) and one set of Cutting Files ONLY so that those of you who have purchased these templates in the past don’t have to re-purchase them to get in on the cutting fun!  PLUS, if you pick them up on New Release Day (which is essentially from Wednesday night through Friday night) you can grab them at a 20% discount.

For my sample, I used Sarah J’s Bloom Paper Pack.  Lovely!  All of her papers are SO hybrid friendly!

For those of you who are wondering what “re-vamped” means, it means that I got rid of a bunch of extra dotted lines. SO, instead of seeing a bunch of scoring lines running down your project, you will see a small tick of a line on one end and a small tick on the other end.  MUCH cleaner.  You simply connect the dots using your straight edge and a scoring tool.  Now, no more inked edged to hide the lines!  YAY!

I did NOT create a perforated edge in the cutting files.  I know that at least one of my design team members thought that I should leave the little tiny dashes so that you didn’t even have to break out your scoring tool, but it took forever to cut and looked sloppy in the end.  I decided to go for clean!  Hope you all don’t mind having to use your tools!

For my sample, I used Jennifer Labre’s Color Me Happy kit.  It is GORGEOUS! You’ll want to click on that link to see for yourself.

See those great little scalloped edges? I’ve seen a couple of gorgeous projects that you all have made with scallops along the edges of the flaps, and I totally copied you.  AND, I decided that it would be cool to have a set of scalloped edge cutting files made specifically to go along the curve of my Fancy and Funky Bags.  SO, I hooked you up with another freebie!  Make sure you add it to your cart while you are checking out!

So, what do you think?  Are you as excited as I am?
