Patching Jeans – My No-Sew Method

Have you subscribed in a feed reader or by Email? Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter! Might as well subscribe to my newsletter, too! You never know when I might start sending one out! LOL!I have two boys.  They are so very precious to me.  AND, they run through their clothes like it is nobody’s business. We have now reached the stage (4T) where Cole is unable to use any of Grant’s hand-me-down pants because Grant put so many holes in his pants that they …

The Mini Mailbox Tutorial

I am very excited about one of my newest templates, which was created at the request of one of the designers at The Digichick. See, every Valentine’s Day, mini mailboxes start showing up in the dollar section of Target, and there is always a mad dash to go grab them for pretty hybrid projects. However, for some, a trip to Target would require loading children into the car and driving great distances. It might even require a hop on the airplane! So, I created a mailbox template …

Free Envelope Template and a Tutorial!

As I’ve mentioned before, we went to the cash system endorsed by Dave Ramsey not too long ago. We literally froze our credit cards (in a cup of water in the freezer) and started to pay cash for everything that wasn’t a regular bill (which I pay online).  I spent the first month or so figuring out how we were going to make it work for us.  I used a plastic accordion coupon organizer that I already had, and stuffed plain, standard sized envelopes inside of it.  Each envelope contained …

Frugal hostess gift using coupon scores!

Hopefully you guys won’t think I am the CHEAPEST person in the world.  I prefer the term “frugal”.  Hee, hee!
Okay, so a couple of weekends ago we went up to Washington to visit with some of my family.  I was looking for a last minute, totally frugal Christmas gift, and searched through my fully stocked pantry.  (New readers: I’m a crazy coupon lady.)  Remember all of the photos of the brownie mixes that I picked up for practically free back in September?  And, have you noticed that I have been …

Easy, Inexpensive and Classy Photo Gift!

My siblings and I usually trade family photos for Christmas, and I must say that they are probably my very favorite present of all.  I LOVE them so much.  I really look forward to receiving them (even if they are electronic, siblings!!!  Don’t forget to send me my picture!!)  Oh, have I mentioned that I come from a HUGE family?  I’m #2 of 10 or 11 kids.  It’s complicated.  And, yes, my mother did give birth to 5 children.  And, yes, 5 of them are adopted.  And, yes, my parents …

The adorable Mini Bloom Box

Yesterday, I released an adorable little scrapbook in a box that I’m calling a Mini Bloom Box. This cute little thing is approximately 2.75×2.75 inches when complete, and makes a wonderful gift.

Look at what my creative team (and friends!) did with it!

Our Advent Calendar!

SO, last night I was feeling a little guilty because EVERY year I talk about making an advent calendar, and it never ends up happening. I also feel a little funny because I design box templates, and yet I didn’t want to sit there and put together 24 or 25 little masterpieces. That’s a lot of cutting and scoring! I didn’t plan far enough ahead. Well, actually, I did, but I also ran out of ink, which I JUST replenished yesterday.
Anywho! I was at the …
