I had a lot of fun playing with the new digital kit called Dirty Footprints by Karen Lewis @ The Digichick. I LOVE it when my favorite digital designers come out with boy kits!! Makes me giddy and all inspired to scrap!!
And, can I just say, I LOVE that my husband enjoys playing with his kids!!! I’m so blessed!

I’ve been in the mood to create, lately. Not just stuff I HAVE to create (cash envelopes or papercraft templates, anyone?) but the stuff I GET to create. Like this cute FREE printable, just perfect for Valentine’s Day!
(Click to download in 8×10, 8.5×11, 11×14 and a layered psd file! For personal use only. NOT for resale.)
I was completely inspired by Pinterest on this one (a teacher made a bulletin board similar to this), and I was also super anxious to try out a transfer technique I took a self-paced class …
Today I’m feeling like a mother of three.
I’m picturing in my head the day we dressed Grant in a t-shirt that I made for him that said “Big Brother” and we took Mitch’s parents out to lunch. We pulled Grant’s sweatshirt off of him to reveal our big news. It was fun and cute and exciting.
I’m remembering Mother’s Day 2005, just weeks after our announcement. Both of our families were at our house celebrating and pampering the moms and sitting around talking. The subject of our new baby came …
Everything from It’s Madness Baby Digital Kit by Elise’s Pieces (The Digichick)
This is my youngest and his best friend in the whole wide world. They were on the same soccer team together this fall (a force to be reckoned with) and now they get to be on the same basketball team. It’s a lot of fun to watch the two of them interact. They are almost like brothers, since they spend so much time together at church (on Sundays and Wednesdays) and school and on Tuesdays when I teach Bible. …
Here we go with another Friday Five! Of course, this is the Saturday edition because I was super tired of the computer on Friday. Hee, hee!
1. I must say that I am so incredibly thankful for OhLife. Remember I told you about it last week? Well, I just typed “1.” and sat here for a good 3 minutes trying to think of something to start my list off with. WHAT did I do this week? Am I really that boring? Then, I remembered that I could go back to OhLife …
I’m so excited that I actually scrapped for myself! Here it is: the first layout of 2012. Hopefully, it will be the first of many. MAN, I missed scrapping!

Ah, it is SO nice to be back on my blog! Honestly, we have been doing GREAT around here, but blogging took a major backseat as I spent more time with my family during the holidays. Now that my kids are back in school, I will endeavor to do a better job with my blogging! I thought the easiest way for me to jump back in was to give you my Friday Five!
1. In 2012, I am going to Work Smarter, Not Harder! Let me explain: There are some things …
I do realize it has been almost two months since I last posted here. If you follow me on Facebook, then you know that I HAVE been around and busy and enjoying my family!! I hope to get back to blogging regularly . . . starting today!
Yesterday, I was thinking about 2011, otherwise known as the year that flew by, and decided I’d do a super-quick recap just to record that SOMETHING(S) happened, even though I don’t have many digital layouts to show for it. It’s sad when I go …
Couponers NEVER pay for toothpaste, and you don’t have to either! This week, Rite Aid has toothpaste (even the fancy stuff) FREE after +UP rewards, and you don’t even need any coupons to do the deal!
First off, I had a $10 +UP reward that expired on Saturday! ARGH! I hate it when I flake out like that! SO, I was going to roll that reward, but it turns out that I still had a great Rite Aid trip even without that $10 to start with.
This is what I picked up:
My …
I just got back from one of the LONGEST Safeway trips ever. I spent almost an hour pushing an uncooperative cart through the aisles on an incredibly busy Sunday night. I’m sure 30 minutes of the trip was just standing at the checkout line!! Never again. However, I had put it off for too long and one of my awesome coupons was set to expire today! I just HAD go!!
At least I didn’t have the kids with me, right?
I realize it has been a very long time since I have …
