I know I’m supposed to be EATING out of my pantry rather than stocking it, but I really can’t help myself! At least I’m going to be staying within my budget, thanks to couponing.

The Rite-Aid trip is a fine example of a person buying stuff when she really doesn’t need to. Is anything in there critical? Well, I love me some Kashi, of course. And, all of that clam chowder is pretty awesome. Eight cans! I like this brand, but I usually add some milk to it since its super thick. Pretty much, that is what I paid for on this trip. Before coupons, those 8 cans would have cost me $10 . . . so you do the math on that one.

I hopped over to Safeway to pick up some more free crackers before the Nabisco promotion ends tonight. I had some $2/2 coupons, plus a doubler, so the crackers were completely free, and I actually made .02¢. The fruit was my “filler”! So, the grand total was the cost of the fruit.

Warning! I do plan on going back to Safeway tomorrow! I picked up tomorrow’s ad and already have my trip planned out. I’ll keep ya posted! AND, I promise to stay under $25 for the week, m’kay?
