I made a quick trip out to Safeway today with my guys in tow. (Again, I must praise the cookie lady. Bless her crabby self.)

Got this:

Yeah, I know. You are so impressed!! Here’s a little breakdown:

La Victoria Salsa was 2/$4, but I had 2 coupons for $4/2, which made my salsa FREE. I’m totally going back for more. We use salsa like crazy (yeah, I know it’s mild!). I usually buy it in jugs!! Go do this and get your coupons!

Milk was $1.99 each when you buy 2 = $3.98
Used a $1/1 ecoupon loaded onto my card (It’s a special program we were chosen for. I dunno. Just don’t throw away correspondence from Safeway!)
I paid $2.98 for 2 gallons of milk.

10 boxes of Nabisco crackers - Buy in increments of 5 to make them $1 each = $10
Used (2) $1/1 Wheat Thins IP by becoming a fan on Facebook
Used (4) $1/2 Nabisco crackers - 3 from the Sunday paper a few weeks ago, 1 from a friend (thanks Kellie!)
4 Safeway doublers = -$2.00
I paid $2 for 10 boxes of crackers.

OH, and I’ll submit the receipt for the Kraft rebate and make $10, so this entire trip was actually FREE!

Coupon sites I’m loving right now (and this is only a fraction what what I have in my Google Reader!):

Frugal Living NW (These ladies rock, and they are coming to my little town in January!)

Hip 2 Save (Gorgeous new blog design and almost always the first to post the new deals.)

Money Saving Mom (Absolutely essential for couponers - great inspirational posts, too! She’s leading the charge for the Pantry Challenge!)

The Krazy Coupon Lady (Taught me everything I know about couponing with their 101 series. AND, they have a new book! Someone want to get me that t-shirt?)
