I just had to share. I hope you don’t mind.

Today I took the boys to the last of the free summer movies “in town”, aka Salem (I hope you’ve enjoyed them in your area, too!), and then popped on over to Kohl’s for some nephew-birthday shopping. Had to swing into the clearance jewelry isle on my way to buy marked down sunglasses (I know, I’m all over the place - and I DID find a toy, too, thank-you-very-much).

Kohl’s clearance jewelry. LOVE it. Seriously. If you have not checked out the clearance jewelry section in your Kohl’s, you need to.

I was wearing my “new” garage sale for 75¢ shirt (with fun detail on the neckline and sleeves), so I felt a little bold and sassy. Looky at what I bought.

Don’t look at my hair or my always crooked (but only shows up in pictures) smile. You’re looking. Stop that.

Check out that seriously rockin’, heavy metal necklace. BOLD. Sassy. Only $3.20. AND, (eeek!), I can add a little extension piece or some black ribbon and it makes the most awesome belt!! I seriously don’t feel 34 years old when I wear this.

And, just because I had to (the little siren was calling to me), I also bought this:

$2.40. Silvery splendor.

Family members: Kohl’s gift card for Christmas. $10 goes a LONG way.
(I’m so helpful like that when it comes to gifts!)

We stopped in last week (had my $10 off $20 coupon and a 15% off too). I got a shirt for hubby (was $8.50 — eeek), 2 pairs of capris for my 5 year old, 2 skirts for my 3 year old, plus a long sleeve shirt for the 3 year old too. With the coupon for everything $13. Not garage sale prices but we needed (ok wanted) it all.

Thanks for the heads up though about the jewelry department. I always try to come as close to the $20 as I can when I have the coupons so that might be a good place to find a little something more!
