You know how I mentioned that I became a member of Barter Boutique a while back? The idea was that I would trade advertising on my site or the items that I sell (my templates) for items that other members of Barter Boutique sell: jewelry, handmade goods, digital goods, vinyl and home decor, etc. It’s a fun and unique way to save a little money on gifts, or “get stuff” for yourself. I had originally thought that I would be bartering for Christmas presents for others, but then I saw what everyone had to offer and I got a little greedy. I LOVE THEIR STUFF! We’re talking top-quality items.

My very first successful barter was with Colette, the owner of Charming Gifts. Oh, her site is so pretty! You really must visit! Colette sells adorable little charms and chains for bracelets, necklaces, cake pulls (I’ve always wanted to do a cake pull!), and more!

cake-pulls

{Okay, I just checked out her site again, and she added more stuff. I think I need pretty much everything from her New Items/Holiday link. Hello monogram!! I need that little charm to go with my frame necklace . . }3628003592_d8a3d87018

I chose the Sterling Silver Keepsake Photo Necklace with a ball chain. My photos just do NOT do this necklace justice:

Grant sidecole side

Yep! It’s two-sided. Times like this, I’m thankful for two kids. What would I do if we had THREE? Oh, probably this:

photo-necklace

I don’t know who those kids are, but they sure are cute! Can you picture a little verse on the back? Possibly a picture of your husband?

This little frame is seriously LITTLE. Adorable. Not at all gaudy. Check it out:

grant side on hand

Although my fingers do look a little chubby in this photo, I promise they are pretty average. The frame is just so petite! AND, if I get tired of these photos, or my boys grow up (shame on them!), I can easily change the photos.

Colette has graciously agreed to give away one of these adorable little Sterling Silver Keepsake Photos Necklaces to one of my readers!! Aren’t you excited!?! Now, I’m not going to make you jump through hoops to win this, but I am going to give you several opportunities to enter. Remember to leave a NEW comment EACH TIME you do one of the following:

1 - Leave a comment on this post telling me what you would do with the necklace if you won. Would you give it away, or keep it for yourself? Whose pictures would you put in it?
2 - Go visit Charming Gifts and tell me what I should buy next.
3 - Follow me on Twitter - KelleighRatz and Tweet about this giveaway. Example tweet: Pls RT! Charming Gifts Necklace #giveaway over on @KelleighRatz Enter to win! #contest http://trunc.it/3xsz8
4 - Subscribe to my blog.
5 - If you make stuff and sell it in an etsy store or your own shop, become a member of Barter Boutique.

Good luck!! I’ll choose a lucky random winner on Thursday!!

Hey you’re still bartering for Christmas gifts, they’re just for you☺ And you deserve some fun gifts too! Thanks for posting this in Tip Junkie’s forum, had to hop on over and so glad I did.

I think it’s super cute and love that it’s two sided, how great is that. I’ve never seen one like that before. If I was feeling nice I’d probably give it to my dear friend with two daughters, but I have a feeling upon seeing it I’d want it for myself to display my 3 year old in.

I would be totally selfish and keep it for myself. I don’t actually own a lot of jewellery, and I’d love to have my daughters pictures in it.

As for what to buy next - I just love the CTR bracelet and “I’m a child of God” necklace.

And yes, I’m subscribed to your blog :D

Oh that is so adorable! I love it and I’ll be honest and say I’d definitely keep it for myself and put my two daughters on there…. or wait, tomorrow is my baby girl’s first birthday. Maybe one side with her photo from the day she was born and one side with her one year old photo! Or maybe buy another and do both! LOL I also love the double silver strands of the chain, very cool.

Cute! I’ve actually run across that website in the past while shopping for charms! I recommend another silver photo box charm-one side for Mitch and the other side for a photo of you (or the two of you). Cute!

Oh, I have to admit that if I won the necklace, I would probably keep it for myself. I’m a sucker for silver jewelry-especially charms! I’ve been adding to a bracelet since about 6th grade! I’ve started one for Livia and my niece, Dae.

I’m SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad to see the photo of the square necklace on your hand. it gives it more of a perspective than saying it’s a one inch necklace (or whatever size it is). it looks so delicate! not sure who’d I put in the necklace - maybe my kids on one side - my Mom on the other to keep her close to my heart.

Look at all the responses you’ve gotten, Kelleigh! And no wonder, it’s a “charming” giveaway. LOL Love it! If I, perchance, was lucky enough to win, I’d be selfish and keep it for myself and put a picture of my girls in it. I don’t wear jewelry much these days, but this could turn the tide.

Thanks for sharing and for the slight chance to win! I need to check out her shoppe!

Have a wonderful day sweet friend!

I read your stuff all the time, but never post! You enticed me into it this time with that cute necklace. I would keep it and put my two cuties into the frame. You remember us from Bible study, when you were back in that cute white house around the corner from Chauntel? :)
    Merry Christmas!
