I am so excited about today, because TODAY is the day we reveal a Massive Blog Hop. It is HUGE, I tell you. There are 21 participants in all!
My own personal Creative Team is being joined by members of The Digichick Creative Team (woot!) and The Hybrid Chick Creative Team (swoon!), AND even some fellow Digichick designers!! It feels awesome to have so many of my digiscrap friends support me and my designs by creating a project with one of my templates. You know how I get when I see that someone made something using one of my templates, right? I get all giggly!! (I know that some of you just read jiggly. Giggles, people, not jiggles!)
One lucky hopper (that’s you) will win a $10 gift certificate to my store just for commenting on this blog post with your vote for your favorite Creative Team project. One lucky Creative Team member will win $10 in PayPal cash for earning the most votes!! The Blog Hop contest winners will be announced on Thursday, April 8th. Yes, I know that is a long way out! BUT, I have a great excuse for being away from my computer for so long . . . I’ll be sure to share about it soon!
I haven’t seen ANY of these projects, yet, so this is just a big surprise all around. Seriously excited. Can’t stand the suspense!!
OF COURSE, I had to participate. You see, I’ve been hoarding some of my digital paper for a while now, and I’ve been itching to use it. Yes, you can definitely hoard digi supplies - they just don’t take up as much room as traditional supplies, so your husband has no idea you have a sickness: A digiscrap sickness.
I used this gorgeous digital kit by Kellie Mize called Nesting Instinct. CA-UTE! When I first grabbed this kit, I pictured it with the papers (including the birdie paper) shrunken down to 4×4, printed out and adhered to 4×4 canvases or pieces of MDF (like I did with that photo gift project) and hung from ribbon as wall art. Problem is, I am the only girl in the family, and I don’t really have a pink room, so it just wouldn’t work out. Don’t you think that would be the cutest home decor project, though?
Anyway, since I don’t have a pink room, I just looked at the paper on my screen for a few weeks and drooled.
NOW, I get to hold the pretty paper in my hand! Wahooo!!
For this project, I used the very first 3 Dimensional template I ever created - the one that started it all - The Fancy Bag Template Set. It is SUCH a great template. This is the larger version, which will print out one bag on a single sheet of 8.5×11 paper. You can fit 2 of the smaller versions on a sheet of 8.5×11 paper, though!
If you didn’t already notice from my project last week . . . I got a new pack of Prima flowers! Hee, hee!
The ric-rac, felt piece and pin are by Close To My Heart. I printed my project on Aurora Natural (so it is a little off-white on the inside) matte photo paper by Red River Paper Company. I’m loving this paper, people!
If you liked this project, you are going to LOVE the rest of the projects on the Blog Hop! It is sure be a an awesome source of inspiration and creativity. Here is a list of the participants. Please remember that we are in all different time zones all over the world, so if you don’t see a project when you first visit, please go back again later in the day!

My absolute favorite (what a hard decision!) was Sunghee’s gazebo - too cute!

Kelleigh, this was so much fun to be a part of your blog hop. Its really eye-opening to see how many fantastic things can be done with your template. Your CT gals rock! As for my vote… it was so difficult to decide.. but its just got to go for Sunghee!
[Reply]
They are all so creative so it’s hard to pick but I really liked the altered takeout box “basket”. It was so colorful and a great size for candy! Some designs were simpler, some were much more complex but this one just hit the spot! (it’s the one by livelaughcreat-luann.blogspot.com).
[Reply]
These were all so lovely! Thanks so much for the inspiration.
The pineapple from An Altered Life just totally blew me away, though. Stunning. Thanks for the chance to win.

What a hard decision … so many great projects!
In the end, I chose Alice’s project …I love the butterflies and colors she chose and she used a little different template than everyone else.

Kel, my favorites are a tie between the architectural pineapple and Sunghee’s extravaganza (that woman is a hybrid genius).
[Reply]
I can’t decide! I’m in love with Sunghee’s gazebo, and I love Sharyn’s pineapple. Oh, and LuAnn’s take on your take out box. Can I have 3 votes? lol

I loved them all, but my vote goes to Sunghee. I can’t even pick between the gazebo and the hot air balloon, they’re equally amazing!
Thanks girls for all the inspiration!

Wow how do I choose? Everyone did such a wonderful job it’s hard to pick just one. A BIG thanks to everyone. But… I have to pick Sharyn’s arcitectural pineapple. It really leaves me in awe and speachless.

I love Alice’s candy dispenser - would make a great little office gift!
[Reply]
I love LuAnn’s alteration of your take-out box!
[Reply]
I love Sunghee’s creations! They always rock!

The architectural pineapple is fabulously creative from the hexagon box base to the strawberry petal pineapple. The paper choices are just perfect. All the projects were great but I like the way Sharyn was thinking outside the box on this one!
[Reply]
I also loved the architectural pineapple that Sharyn created. It is so fun to see uses for paper other than the typical scrapbook/card/gifty things that I usually create. This is something you could use for a gift - or to decorate with! I loved it!
Sharyn - I hope to have 1/20th of your creativity! Very inspiring…. Thank you for sharing!
[Reply]
Such wonderful work all around! My favorite though, is Alice’s candy dispenser!
