Favorite Family Games
With Christmas just around the corner, I thought I would take a few minutes to share some of our favorite family games with you.
I may or may not have mentioned before that we are a television-less family. Wait, yes, we do have a {honkin’} television, however we don’t get any channels on it. We just watch movies. SO, that leaves us with a lot of non-television-watching family time, which we like to fill with books and games.
Our boys are ages 7 and 4. One can read and the other can not. One does well with math concepts, and the other is still learning the basics. However, there are several great games that our whole family likes to play together! And, when I say the whole family, I’m not exaggerating for effect. Mitch and I love to play these games with our boys. Other games . . . not so much . . . lol!
I put together a quick little “Favorite Family Games” widget just to keep it simple. It may take a moment to load (or you may need to click over from your feed reader), but it has a quick little review in my own words, plus a link so you can see what others think. If you’ve been saving up your Swag Bucks and redeeming them for Amazon gift cards, then this should make it super easy to finish shopping!
(Oh, and if you don’t pay with your SB gift card, I’ll get a tiny little affiliate payment. Thought I should disclose that!)
By the way, I’m a big advocate of spending less money and more time with your family this Christmas season (thus the family games), and I’m excited to show you a couple of frugal or free gift alternatives. Tutorials are in the works right now!!

This is one of my girls favorite games too! They are now 7 and 9!

We’ve been wondering what game Santa would bring the kids this year. Thanks for the ideas!
