Just finished this one up today! I used Snow Friends by Danielle Engebretson, The Whites paper pack and Joyful Alphabet by Roben-Marie Smith and a paper fold by Karah Fredricks.

We had such a great time picking out our tree this year. We usually go tree hunting with Mitch’s parents, but they were out of town, so we went by ourselves. We had heard about a tree farm that is real close to our house that had trees for only $12, so we were determined to find it. Sure enough! All trees, whether 3 feet or 15 feet, were only $12! They had mostly Douglas Firs, but some Nobles and some Grands. We usually go for Nobles, but the ones at this place needed a couple more years to grow.

We walked around the entire tree farm looking for just the right tree. Grant picked it out. I think it was about a 12 footer. HUGE. Much larger than any other trees we’ve gotten in the past. Of course, we had to cut some off the bottom so it would drink water, but its still touching the ceiling in the Living Room.

Perhaps I’ll post pics!

Fabulous layout, Kelleigh! I’d be all over getting a live tree again if I could find one for that price. Around here they start at $30 for a small one. Ughs.

PLEASE share pictures when you get it all decorated! *Ü* I wanna see, I wanna see.
