I picked up some more cheap, soft toilet paper today!

Some new P&GeSaver coupons came out yesterday, and matched up WONDERFULLY with a sale that has been going on at the Safeway and affiliate stores (which included Krogers, Genuardis, Dominicks, etc).

Basically, the promo is that you purchase $25 worth of P&G products (before coupons) and receive a $10 catalina (a coupon that can be used like cash) on your next order! I think the sale/promo ends tonight, so jump on it if you are interested. You need to have a club card, and you need to load eCoupons on it. Check out the post over at Frugal Living NW for the details.

My deal:
Buy One 24 pack of Charmin (reg price was $15.99 – buy 2 for $9.99)
Buy One 12 pack of Bounty (reg price was $15.99 – buy 2 for $9.99)
- .25¢ Bounty coupon
-.25¢ Safeway Doubler
-$3.00 Charmin P&G ecoup
-$3.00 Bounty P&G ecoup
Three Trident Layers gum (on sale for $1)
- (3) .75¢/1 coupons from Sunday paper (who knows when)
- $1.50 Safeway Doubler (Overage, baby!!)
= I paid $12.48 OOP and I earned a $10 Catalina!
So, $1.24 per BIG roll pack and 3 packs of free gum after Catalina savings!!

WAHOO!! I LOVE THIS STUFF!

I can’t wait for the new ad to come out tomorrow. Sick, huh?

They charged me wrong for the tp. Have you ever gone back and tried to get that fixed? Do you have to go the same day? Not sure I want to make that trek again today and take the kids with me. I bought the same tp as you and they charged 13.99. Otherwise the deal worked great for me.

Kristin, did you buy two? You have to buy 2 to get the $9.99 price, and it has to be on the BIG packs. YES, I have gone back to have them adjust the price and give me a refund MANY times!!

Yes, I bought the same tp and the paper towels, the paper towels was not the same b/c they were out but it was still under the deal I thought but maybe am wrong. I did get the catalina. Have you taken the product back in to get the refund or just showed them your receipt?
    Thanks!

I just take the receipt in. I’ve never had a problem. I think there is a picture of all of the $9.99 BIG products in the ad.
