Check out what I picked up today! FREE Bacon, FREE Yogurt, FREE Nut Clusters, and FREE Fruit Snacks.

Yes, it’s a bunch of junk. I wasn’t going to participate in the FREE Fruit Snack promotion this time because my kids drove me CRAZY asking for fruit snacks over and over the last time I stocked up. However, I figure that they will be great in Easter Baskets, right? I mean, it could be jelly beans or fruit snacks. Both are bad for you, so they cancel each other out. Whatever.

Anywho: Internet Printables, ecoupons loaded onto my card (quite a few came off!!), Promo savings, and a coupon from Vocal Point made for free fruit snacks + overage. PLUS, when you buy 4 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, you get a $2.50 Catalina! (That 5th box is Kelloggs - otherwise I would have earned a $3.50 Catalina.)

The Yogurt was on clearance since it expires March 26th. It will definitely be gone by then! $1.00/1 Manufacturers coupons from the Sunday inserts - doubled = Free Yogurt + overage.

Nut clusters - I had an Internet Printable coupon and an ecoupon = .50¢

Bacon was on sale for $3.50 each (yikes!!), but there were $1.50/1 coupons. I used 2. AND, when you buy two a Catalina for $1 off your next purchase prints!

Anyway, with all of that overage, I ended up spending $3.25 out of pocket, and then I earned $3.50 in Catalinas, which really makes this whole trip FREE!! I love free Bacon. That’s all I really cared about.

Thanks for putting up with these coupon posts. I just get so giddy!! I SO wish I would have learned how to coupon YEARS ago!!

Great score! I wish our stores doubled. I have been couponing for about 17 years and let me just say that couponing wasn’t always do cool!

    Looks like a good trip!

I want to do couponing like this, but I lack the energy at this point and as much as I try to prepare by reading the coupon blogs and scouring my local ads I get frustrated easily. Do you take all your coupons with you every time you go shopping? I find that sometimes I’ll see something on sale or clearance and remember had a good coupon for it, but it’s at home. I wish I had someone that would go with me on a weekly basis. lol DH gets irritated when I make him go with me ;)

That’s exactly what I do! I never would have picked up the free yogurt if I didn’t have my coupon binder with me. I always like to check out the yogurt section for markdowns before I leave the store!

I love checking the yogurt section before I leave too! It’s the only way I’ll buy “fun” yogurt (Go-gurt, Trix, etc.) for the kids. I’ve been having trouble getting the cats to print lately. They are always accomodating at the customer service desk, but it’s a pain to have to go over there with the kids and then explain why they should be giving me $ back. Was it pretty easy to get the cats when you called after having the issue with your cheese a few weeks back?

Pam, I’ve had to call the Catalina company about 4 or 5 times, and they are always very nice and send me my Catalina! Do it!
