About Kelleigh
Life is good!
I’ve been married to my handsome husband for 16 years, and we have a blast together. Okay, so it’s not always perfect, but it’s good, and we are blessed to have one another! We like to go on long runs together, even though he’s a foot taller and much faster than me! It’s fun to share a hobby that makes us feel tough and strong! My husband is such a wonderful encourager and so supportive of my many interests. Plus, he brings me Dutch Bros. coffee (the sweet nectar of life), AND lets me go on and on about my Disneyland obsession without mocking me.
I absolutely love being a mom to my two (much easier than they were a few years ago) little boys, ages 10 and 7. Grant and Cole hold my heart in their hands and walk around with it all day long, which makes it hard to breathe sometimes, especially when I watch them play soccer or football or basketball. I’m afraid I’m the loudest mom out there. When I get excited, it’s hard to control the volume of my voice!
My boys love it when I design a new template and let them play with the prototypes. They are pretty sure I’m famous, and I’m not about to correct them!
How it all began:
I began designing paper craft templates when I weaseled my way onto a large store’s creative team by touting myself as a hybrid artist. I’d played with paper for a couple of years as a traditional scrapper/card maker, so I figured I could easily print digital paper and make pretties with it. A little bit of mental cutting and folding translated onto the screen, and my design business began! The shop brought me on as a designer, and I enjoyed five years of learning and growing among some amazing designers. I look forward to more wonderful years at Pixels and Company!
Life is pretty full!
When I’m not working on my digital designs, I stay busy with my successful Etsy shop where I sell cash envelopes designed for the cash budget system endorsed by Dave Ramsey. Additionally, when called upon, I design Adoption Profiles for potential adoptive families wanting to introduce themselves to birthmothers. It’s an incredibly rewarding job which I thoroughly enjoy! Finally, I volunteer each Friday at my boys’ schools, which gives me the opportunity to support their teachers, meet their friends, and just generally stalk them.

Hi Kelleigh,
The minute you mention that dutch coffee at your interview with Daily Digi I suspected you were an Oregonian! And yet I’ve never had their coffee yet! I live in Happy Valley (think SE Portland or Clackamas). I wonder if Wilsonville wouldn’t be a good place for Portland and Salem girls to meet up? Isn’t that getting towards the half way mark? Okay, now back to reading your interview!

Kelly,
I have a question regarding your templates. Do most of them print on an 8×11 sheet or on a 12×12? My printer can only print up to 11X17, so I hate to purchase them if they wont be printable.
Thanks for your help.
Sarah

We’ve got quite a bit in common (besides living in the NW): I’ve been married 12 years, my kids are 1st grade and preschool, love couponing and yard sales too!

I just found your site. Came to it thru $5 Dollar Dinners blog. I really like what I see. I don’t have Photoshop. So I can’t download anything yet. I may get it back on as I want to download the envelope template and would like to get a few other templates. I love scrapbooking and I live in Oregon, too, as in Woodburn, right behind the outlet mall!!!! Love what I saw on your site. Take care and thanks for sharing!!!-Becky

Kelleigh,
Somehow I found you online. I am not quite sure how - but think it was related to a coupon site. Either way - so good to see you online and you are doing some pretty terrific things. Love your ideas, and your sense of humor.
Paul is still the pastor at West Chehalem Friends Church, and I am working at GF - still after 7 years. I still do Mary Kay, now a Sales Director, and hanging onto GF for the tuition remission - which soon will kick in as our twins are 16, juniors at Newberg High School and Andrew, 13, 7th grade at CVMS.
Just so sweet to see your face - glad you are doing well it sounds. I am inspired by you.
How are your sis, Jennifer and Matt? We really missed them when they headed out of town. Again, great to see you online.

(I am so impressed with my interactions with Kelleigh that I really wanted to write a review of praise, so here goes!)
I downloaded Kelleigh’s Gable Box template awhile ago, and realized after a few attempts that it did not cut with my digital cutter successfully. I wrote Kelleigh to see if she could help at all, and BOY did she respond! What ensued was about 5 or 6 back-and-forth e-mails, trying to help me sort the problem out. Such great customer service, delivered with wonderful personality. And that’s a huge plus given the ‘risk’ of digital downloads, where you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get and there’s no guarantee that your request for follow-up help will be honoured! As someone who deems excellent customer service as important as excellent products, shopping with Kelleigh was such a pleasure. I am definitely a fan! :] Thanks again!

Kelleigh, you came to my garage sale a week ago and we had some great moments of conversation about paper crafters….including my very favorite, Melissa Phillips. I have passed on your information to my good friend, Liz, who is the organizer of the local Cricut club. They meet at Abby’s Pizza….hope you can join them sometime.

Hi Karen! How cool that we live in the same town! I pretty much only coupon in Dallas, too. I’m sure I’ll go to Albertson’s a couple of times this fall, but I’m a homebody!!
I usually get 4 Statesmans. I know that I’m missing out on some high-value coupons from the Oregonian, but I’ve been doing fine with my Statesmans! AND, I don’t buy them anymore. I have “sources”. LOL!

I was on a coupon site this morning and came acroos your blog. You (your husband) has to be realated to my husband. His Grandfathers name was John Ratzlaff from Abotsford Canada. They moved down to Tacoma, WA and John changed his name to “Retzloff”. Are you related to “Abe or John”, we cant remember the rest of the names! would so love to find out! Nice site! Thank you, Gale

Hi Gale! Actually, no, probably not related. My in-laws are from Oklahoma, by way of Kansas, and Minnesota, by way of Germany. However, I’ve heard that all Ratzlaffs can trace their origins back to a certain Ukranian/Swiss soldier!
