I love my new Soap Box Template, which is part of my May Grab Bag. It is super cute, pretty practical, and really easy to put together!! This is, of course, one of those times when I wish I had a large format printer or a Cricut so I could make it bigger. Wouldn’t it make a cute little paper purse? Adorable.
I’d like to show you how I put this baby together.
As always . . .
Before I get started, let me direct you to some pretty good tutorials (if I do say so myself!) found at The Hybrid Chick:
Where to Start – offers suggestions for basic materials to get you started with hybrid.
Using Templates – guides you through the process of using my templates from downloading to adding digital paper, and preparing to print.
Borderless Printing – shows you how to find your borderless printing option on your printer . . . or at least gets you headed in the right direction.
Now, print your project! Of course, you can use digital paper or simply print the lines only version on some of the patterned paper or cardstock in your stash.

For my project, I chose digital paper from the Sweet Memories collaboration between Danielle Engebretson and Sugarplum Paperie. I LOVE this kit! So pretty!
As you can see, I changed the color of the scoring lines to match the paper so they would not be as noticeable. Then, I just cut on the solid lines and scored on the dashed lines.
Then, I folded on all of the scored lines.
And then applied adhesive (a tape runner) to the flaps along the bottom and the side.
I matched up the edges and adhered the side flap to the inside of the box.
Then, I closed the bottom by adhering the flap to the inside of the bottom of the box.
To close the box, I slid the notch into the slit.
And, this is what it looks like all dressed up in a Prima flower!
Remember that you can pick up 3 template sets for an awesome price this month when you purchase my May Grab Bag! I’ll be separating the Grab Bag out in June, so buy it while you can!
