Last night I did the Kelloggs deal @ Safeway.
4 boxes of Corn Flakes - Paid $1, earned a $3 Catalina
4 boxes of Crispix - Paid with the $3 Catalina, earned a new $3 Catalina
4 boxes of Raisin Bran - Paid with the $3 Catalina, earned a new $3 Catalina
12 boxes of cereal for $1, plus I have a $3 Catalina to roll into a new transaction!
Have you guys done the deal, yet? You HAVE to! The Catalina ends tomorrow!
My count so far: 24 boxes of cereal for $3.50
I know I rock.

Yup! Totally awesome deal! I did a round yesterday for 2 boxes of Corn Flakes and 2 boxes of Crispix. I don’t really love Corn Flakes, so I didn’t want 4 of them. lol
Hey, did you have to do separate transactions to get 3 cats? Or can you do one transaction and it will print multiple cats? I wasn’t sure so only bought 4 boxes. I’ll be going back today for more though!

Oh wait. You paid for them with cats… so yes, I’m gonna say you did separate transactions. lol Ignore my question.

Yep! I started with the Corn Flakes, because they would give me the lowest Out Of Pocket expense (even though they are not our favorite), and then I earned my Catalina and kept going!! My checker was super nice and very impressed!

You do rock! I love these posts. I hope you don’t mind me giving you the old Canadian comparison —so you can see why I am so amazed and so jealous too. My 2 fav cereals to buy are Shredded Wheat and Fibre 1 but they are both about $4.59 each. When they go on sale for 2 for $7 I STOCK UP! Seriously…..$3.50 for ONE box of cereal here is a good deal. See why I am living vicariously through you?

Okay so I think I messed up a little and didn’t get 3 catalinas I should have ( I’m new at this - lesson learned
) so this could have been about $9 dollars cheaper… but I wanted to share my brag because I am sooo blown away by this and so is my husband.
First transaction
4 boxes Corn Flakes
4 Boxes Raisin Bran
4 Boxes Mini Frosted Wheat
4 Boxes Fruit Loops
( Should of split this up for the xtra catalinas but I was a little confused so I only got one catalina)
Total Paid = $17.00
(31.84 Club Card Savings + $7.00 Coupons)
Second Transaction
4 Boxes Golden Grahams
5 Boxes Cheerios
4 Boxes Kashi Heart to Heart
4 Boxes Granola Bars
Total Paid = $16.95
(29.33 Club Card Savings + $10.55 Coupons)
I just want to thank you for all this awesome info! My family of 6 is going to be so well fed for breakfast.. months to come

Awesome!! That averages out to a little over a dollar per box! Next time you are at the store, look around at all the others who put a full-priced box of cereal in their carts and give yourself a pat on the back for NOT PAYING FULL PRICE!! Feels good, huh?

Oh my goodness! The deals you have scored this week are very impressive! You go, Kelleigh and all the ladies who have shared their successful shopping trips!
Have a great weekend!

Good morning, Miss Kelleigh!
I, too, am a new couponer, and I’m thinking we’re both in the PDX area. Is this true? I’ve been doing the cereal deal (thanks to The Krazy Coupon Lady) with great success, but I’m wondering if you’ve heard the rumor about the Scrubbing Bubbles deal, which is suppose to be a ‘hot’ money maker. If you know of this, and by chance are participating, do you know which Safeways here in the area have the product?

Hi Nicole!! I have heard about the deal (Frugal Living NW has reported it), however I haven’t done it myself. I saw that one of my friends who lives in the Newberg area did it! She might have gone to the McMinnville store, though, because they are friendlier.
I live further south in the Salem area! However, Angela (Frugal Living NW) lives closer to Portland! You should leave a comment on her post and ask the locals!! Everyone is pretty helpful with this stuff.
