A Blog Hop and Pumpkin Template Giveaway!

2 October 2009 1,877 views 38 Comments

Have you subscribed to my RSS feed and my newsletter yet? Don't miss out!

Are you ready to see some seriously amazing little projects created by me and my Creative Team? I’m so excited about this! My gals worked some serious overtime to bring you some of the most gorgeous papercrafting projects in the blogosphere!

However, before we get to those blog hop links, let me show you what I’ve been working on!

I promised you that I would show you how my new Perfect Pumpkin template can translate into a perfect apple for the teacher, and I am SO excited to show you what I put together this evening! I have a little tutorial coming soon, so look for it next week!

The Perfect Pumpkin Template Set comes in 3 sizes. This is the small size, and the finished project is about the size of a real apple! How perfect is that? PLUS, this size fits on a single sheet of 8.5×11 paper (letter size), so I only had to print one sheet. Love that. Okay, HOWEVER, if you have never put one of these babies together before, I highly recommend starting with the large pumpkin! Oy! Those little scoring and cutting lines took me for.ev.er! Once it was scored and cut, though, it was a total breeze to put together. The only thing I did to make the pumpkin into an apple is to push the top down so that it is a little concave. Typically, with the pumpkin, I would push that up like, well, a pumpkin. (Don’t worry! I’ll go over all of this in my tutorial!)

Is this not the most adorable paper apple you have ever seen? Oh, my goodness. Sorry. I know that sounds totally conceited, but I really must give all the credit to another fabulously designed template (thank you, thank you very much!) AND digital papers by Kelley Mickus. Used her Click. kit again. LOVE that kit. I have used it so many times. I don’t know if I have ever used a single kit as many times as I have Click.!

Okay, now it is time to check out what my Creative Team has been doing!! Some of them have been posting already, so be sure to check out their post at the top and then scroll down to see more. When you are done, come back here and leave a comment for a chance to win my new Perfect Pumpkin (or perfect apple!) Template Set!

    Hi Kelleigh:

I found you through your comment at TipJunkie and I really loved seeing your template. I love how some of your gals modified it like for the cute garage. I also love the toolbox turned barn. I had no idea you could even purchase neat-o little templates like that. I have a ton of scrapbook paper that never gets used in my stash. I will have to check out more! I’d love to win a cute pumpkin template to try out, keeping my fingers crossed!
