My sister’s family rented a beach house and invited us to join them earlier this week. We took a little trip to a nearby lake where the kids all went fishing. I created this layout to showcase my favorite catch of the day: the photo of my dad on the dock with my boys. I love the vintage look to the photo and the fact that it showcases three very important people in my life.

My wonderful husband bought me an iPhone for my birthday!! I’m in love with it! One of my favorite apps is Instagram, which is a camera application which creates a fun vintage frame around my photo. It looks like I processed my photo, but I didn’t! SO easy! I also love that I can take a bunch of everyday life photos with Instagram and share them instantly with my followers (mostly family and a couple of close friends), OR post on Facebook if I feel like it, which I sometimes do! I’m trying to get all of my sisters on Instagram, and I think we are pretty close!
