The Digi Game
If you’ve been around here for a while, then you know that I have a little hobby/job/obsession-that-pays-me. It’s the reason why my blog header is all junked up with papercraft projects and why I have a fan page. See, you might be reading my blog because you love to see my coupon scores or because you think I’m insanely witty (heh, heh, hee?). However, I actually run a little business selling papercraft templates like little boxes and bags and cutting files for crafty type people. (By the way, the store is being upgraded right now, but it should be back very soon!)
It all started a couple of years ago. Actually, I think my 2-year anniversary is coming up in October! Oh, wait. That’s today, huh? Anyway, I had a few things in the store and was working my hiney off to be noticed by digital scrapbookers and papercrafters, when all of the sudden I was contacted by The Daily Digi asking if I would like to be featured in their upcoming Digi Files. Uh, yeah!!
The month I was featured on The Daily Digi blog was pivotal for my business. People started buying my designs and it was a real encouragement. I re-wrote some goals for myself and my business and decided that I could actually make this thing work! And, thanks to the encouragement and support of The Daily Digi, my little business is doing great and I’m able to bring in a small income to help out the family financially. Yay! Even better is that I really enjoy it and find my work to be very fulfilling. Can you imagine turning your hobby into an income? I’m so blessed!!
The Daily Digi is a blog that highlights a set of different designers every month. Each designer contributes a full size kit or product (for me it was a template set) that goes into an absolutely ginormous grab bag called The Digi Files. It is valued at at least $35, but you can get it for only $5, and it is a way to support The Daily Digi. PLUS, it is an awesome way meet new or tried-and-true designers (and, we’re talking top-quality designers) and build your stash on a budget.
I have to tell you about something VERY exciting! The Daily Digi has just started up a subscription plan! Here are the details:
($82.50 per year)
If you subscribe to the DIGI GAME - ANNUAL option, $82.50 per year (that’s 12 months for the price of 11) will be automatically deducted from your Paypal account and you will receive:
