Good news and bad news
Have you subscribed to my RSS feed and my newsletter yet? Don't miss out!
The good news is that my 3 year old son likes to take baths.
The bad news is that he likes to start his own baths in my ginormous jacuzzi tub.
The good news is that my bathroom floor is really, really clean. It has never been so thoroughly cleaned.
The bad news is that we may have to pull up that floor and replace it, along with the carpet pad in the closet and about 2 feet into the master bedroom.
The good news is that I am married to an insurance agent.
The bad news is that my insurance agent suggests that we not turn in this claim so that we can keep our premiums low.
The bad news is that we are going away on vacation tomorrow, which can not be postponed.
The good news is that we are going to Vienna because my husband worked really, really hard this year. Oh, and without the kids. Wheeeee!!!
So, I have to laugh. And keep packing at 11: 28pm. Because life doesn’t stop just because you flooded your bathroom.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear this happened right before your leaving on an awesome vacation…hopefully you can put it out of your mind and enjoy yourself thoroughly. What a cute little scamp!

Glad you’re keeping a sense of humor about it.
Doesn’t every kid have a story like this from their childhood? You (and he) will be telling this one for a long time.
Enjoy your trip!!
