Congrats! Nice to win a free year of Mozy. I have found that if you do your backup in sets it works well. It is nice to see it complete each section. I often will start with documents, then photos, music, movies etc. The documents are usually the smallest and will finish quickly.

I've used Mozy for about a year now. Yes, the first backup seems to take forever. But now it runs daily in the background and I never, ever notice. It's FANTASTIC! (Just beware that if you delete something off your computer, when Mozy runs an update the next day, it will delete it from their backup too. I didn't know that at first and nothing horrible happened, but I make a point of telling new users about it.) :)
