Need Bacon.

I did some grocery shopping this week.  Of course.  I do go OFTEN, by the way.  Extreme Couponers usually do go to the store a couple of times a week.  Non-couponers just DIE when they hear that, but hey, it’s a hobby!  And, it’s saving my family money!  AND, the “coupon high” is better and cheaper than therapy.

My first “coupon high” moment of the week happened on Tuesday night while Mitch and the boys were at soccer practice.  Cellfire had just re-released some ecoupons, which meant double the ecoupons for a few items, so I purchased:

2 squeezies of Vlassic Relish

1 package of tortillas

2 KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauces

2 fourty count Glad Storage Bags

a package of Marshmallows (which I paid full price for)

And . . . they owed me 19¢.  (Not that they give it to you, but I should have popped a lime in there or something to absorb overage.)

I didn’t take a picture because of rushing around.  Be impressed, though, because I certainly am!

On Thursday, I did my really-real grocery shopping, since we are going camping this weekend and I needed to pick up some necessities.

I got this:

I paid FULL PRICE ($3.99) for the bacon, if you can believe that.  However, we need bacon.  We are going camping.  Enough said.

Highlights: the mayo was $1 each, the nut clusters and gushers made me money.  Otherwise, if you just shopped the loss leaders, you were gonna get some pretty good deals!

THEN, I took the Catalinas that I earned with the above deal and rolled them into this morning’s shopping trip:

Oh, yes!  I spent $1.25!  And, it could have been even more impressive, but I paid full price for the cilantro (69¢).

I’m excited to use those Catalinas on next week’s deals!
