Merry Christmas my friends!!

24 December 2009 1,360 views 2 Comments

I’m sitting here on the morning of Christmas Eve, checking my email and reading my blogs.  The house is still quiet and dark, and I’m feeling like I need to make the computer screen dark, too.  SO, yes, I’m turning the computer off today.  Not just putting it to sleep so I can wake it up while I pass through the hallway, but actually turning it off.  It hurts.  I have an addiction to the sweet thing (my big huge Mac daddy).

However, this is Christmas Eve.  These days are about celebrating the birth of my Savior, and my children need to understand the significance.  SO, I’ll turn off my computer, close the closet doors, and be totally in the moment.

But don’t worry!  I’ve scheduled a blog post for you this weekend that is full of eye candy!  YAY!  And, if you subscribe to The Digichick’s newsletter, you should be receiving a high value coupon from me soon!  Hee, hee!

In the meantime, I hope you take a few minutes in a silent moment in the day and remember that today is about celebrating the birth of a baby, who would grow into a man, who would die on the cross for our sins and would rise from the dead, proving that he was who he said he was.  The Messiah.  The Savior of mankind.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
