Hey Kelleigh,

I'm so sorry things went badly for you last night. Those "Socials" can get kind of chaotic and it sounds like it was not very well organized. I would go to the school today and talk to the office ladies. In my experience, they pretty much "run" the school and should be able to help a lot. You could probably also meet his teacher today (they SHOULD be working all day :). At WW I paid the office people for lunches, and then throughout the year I would just send an envelope to school with Will and have him give it to his teacher. They'll figure it out, that's what they are paid to do!

As far a bussing goes, I have no expeience, but I have heard from several people that it helps to call the bus barn. I would ask them how long Grant's ride home on the bus would be, though. Some of the buses will be sharing routes with WW students who get out a half an hour later, which means lots of sitting time on the bus for the K-3 graders. Don't know if that would be your route or not.

Bummer about the shool supplies. On Lyle's sheet it said not to label items, as they will all be shared. This was the first year Will actually got to pick out his OWN stuff - 3rd grade.

I really hope your next expeience goes better. I am a HUGE public school advocate (hehe) and I have been so blessed by many of the staff and teachers.

ps, cute layouts, I like the holding hands one just as it is. :)
